• Mom spent the night in the hospital last night. She was very dizzy and sick to her stomach, when they got to the emergency room her blood pressure was 227/90. By the time I had gotten there it was down to 150/60 and they had taken blood but didn't have any results. Of course since I'd only slept 3 hours last night I didn't stay long, she was very groggy, my grandma was struggling with it all but I'm so glad she was there as she was the one that called mom and when mom picked up her phone yesterday grandma said "who is this?" I guess her voice was unrecognizable. Grandma kept asking her if she wanted her to come over and mom said no then eventually said maybe she should and they decided to go to the emergency room. It was all around the time I got off of work and there was confusion on my part as I had to get to my appointment, which I always turn my phone off for. So I got there after my appointment and learned all that had happened. They kept her over night for observation and she should be out today. My work is 5 minutes from the hospital she's at so I can be there at a moment's notice.
